Review and recommendations for the future of SCAN, the Scottish Council on Archives network. SCAN was a major project to catalogue and publish Scottish archives from 52 participating institutions and was completed in 2004. The cost of £3.8m was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the National Archives of Scotland and the Genealogical Society of Utah.
